world cup fever in korea!

it's been one week since last week since i returned from korea. i still miss korea abit. monday was the worst. korea hangover :( i reached home at sat midnight then the next day was sunday and then SCHOOL. what a bummer. didn't have time to blog about my exciting and vvv fun :) trip until now. math test and all. anyway next week would be a busy week too. there's chinese yan jiang ci which i must remember to practise for, el pt and lsl. i hate rgs hohum. yep then there's changing seats which is :(((. i'll miss sitting with shulin. hopefully i do ok for my math, i don't dare to wish for too much, a pass i happy already. thanks limin for wishing me and shi-tien june and val during recess! haha. today selections which was.. but aiya i'm fine. supposed to be final but we'll know the results on monday. ok uhh my dad's leaving for china tmr.. dunno for how long. i think i'll miss him, i honestly dunno. not that i'm bu xiao ok, KHOOSHEETIEN. sending him off in the evening.

ok, now about exciting korea! <3
1) took a 6hour flight to seoul on sat midnight, took a 1hr domestic flight to pusan in the morning.

2) pusan was abit boring cos we visited ancient emperor tombs, museums etc. but the food was quite nice cos korean food was new to us then and it was exciting to eat like koreans with rectangularish and flat chopsticks and da chang jing lookalike spoons and bowls.

3) korean rice is very fattening but their diet is v healthy, lots and lots of veggie.

4) in korea the sun rises at 430 in the morning and their 7 oclock sun is like our 9-10 oclock. i was watching the korea-france match on monday morning at 4 and i was like, O_O to see the sun rising from the outside the window. the sun sets at around 8 at night.

5) we took another d.flight to jeju island which was <333. i miss cheju's nice smelling, unpolluted air and spring water the most. i miss cheju the MOSTTT. their chocolates not bad also, eveybody like the chocs i brought back :) i like their mai ya tang (stupid wormy threw the one i gave her away!)

6) oh at the jeju airport's checkpoint the officer stopped me cos my adidas spray can was in my bag and he kept going SI-POO-RAY in my face and i got quite scared cos he looked fierce rambling away in korean and it WAS the customs. what in bananas is si-poo-ray? gee. anyway he meant spray. thinking back actually it was quite funny hahaha.

7) we went to alot of places in cheju,
we climbed a mountain,
we rode bicycles up a downwards slope which allows cars to move upwards even without the engine.
took alot of pictures.
went to the all in filming site which was gorgeous. wind rocks sea! <3 i wished i lived there.
went to da chang jing filming site
took photos with cardboard figurines of kwon sang woo, choi ji woo, lee byung hun etcetc.

8) then we went to mt sorak which was abit of a disappointment cos the cable cars weren't working.

9) went to EverLand in Seoul which was vvvvv fun. the fire works display was the best.

10) the last two days we spent in seoul, shopping, visiting ginseng/honey shops blahblah, took photos with the traditional korean costumes, went to kimchi school and learnt how to make nice kimchi. manymanyMANY people walking aorund in red and stickers of the korean flag on their faces on our second last day there when korea was playing switzerland. their support for the country is amazing. but it's sucha pity they lost :(

i'm in the airport now using their free internet..haha.
er one more hour to our flight.. i feel like sleeping already..and i'm supposed to do my differentiation. im veryvery dead. my differentiation is like #$%^&*(, i'm so ill prepared for the test !! T_T
aiya but nehmind i shall worry about that when i get back! now it's time to enjoy my holiday. last week of holiday!!! :( next monday is SCHOOOOLL. sucks.

about 5-6 more hours before we leave for the airport. night time flights make the day time unbearable cos of all the pent up excitment.
rahrahrah. and im desperately desperately trying to finish up my differentiation worksheets. i'm already fully prepared to do my assignments on the plane :( if only my brain works like li chen's. that would be the happiest thing that could happen to me.

i'm going to miss spain's match on monday :( i'm gonna miss all the fernando action :( dya know they call him the WONDERBOY? <3

okay ummm. gotta get back to math, then finish up packing. je deteste packing. the french is probably wrong, but whatever. i don't think i can close my luggage, considering how i've got three requests by shi-tien, caroline and shulin to fit them in. oh nevermind! i promise to pack something back for youall k :D since i can't bring youall along haha.

i'm over the moon cos i heard the telecast over the radio on the car. i missed the live show cos we went out :((( spain won 4-0! i'm into soccer suddenly i also dunno why! maybe cos of no.9 haha. i like korea's no.15 too! maybe i'd see him in korea? :D

last night i was lying in bed and thinking that over the years i've been in an all girls school i've learnt to appreciate girls more. i decided i like girls better. in the friendly way lah, duh. so in a sudden fit of anti-boy-ness i wanted to get out of bed and delete all the unfemales on my msn list. then i decided better not. what if one of them turns out to be an important figure at the top? they could be my lift up there.

hm shitty introduced sudoku to me and im hooked! hooooooked. i think cos it's so satisfying when you solve everything and the thought of me doing something related to numbers is just so wonderful. it makes me feel less mathematically-challenged. but i bet THE caroline probably has already figured out some kind of pattern and devised a formula to solve all sudoku puzzles. :(
nevermind, i shalll stick to my mindless sudoku (which is actually based on logic) and revel in the wonder of me and my numbers.

and it's annoying cos i've just waited ONE HOUR to blog this miserable piece of -
but anyway im back, if you haven't realised. not much fun over there. services and services and more services. we had about 4-5 sessions a day and it bored me out. i fell asleep in most of them T_T didn't really mean to la.

pffffft so caring of her. haha but i think shulin's damn funny. her sarcasm is amusing. hmmm oh the pool over there's only 1.2m, the deepest. so i couldn't really drown even if i tried. not much blacker either. cos the weather was too effingly good, which was a disappointment. but whatever, im glad to be back, there were like enough flies to fill up the entire of singapore they were like, one quarter the size of my finger which is plain GROSS. plus there was electricity shortage which led to blackouts and no air con. then there was no water in the entire resort on the last day, the toilets were eewwww. and alot of people had runs from the food there, probably cos of the horrific number of flies. the food sucked too. and to think they call themselves a 3 star restaurant. pfffft what bullshit.

ahh, every trip to malaysia makes me appreciate singapore more.
haha.

we closed camp at six yesterday. there's nothing much to say..the usual torturous morning pt and sprained fingers toes abrasions muscle aches but im grateful to mr tan for giving us the third day off for bonding. im so happy to be home and im still vv tired. that's about all, maybe shi-tien will have some pictures. and i hope the sec ones had fun. i think they did pretty well. for their first training camp especially. but then again, they were handpicked by mr tan to be able to take training unlike previous batches.

i miss the rj mushroom guotiao so my maid's getting for me from the stall opposite :)

oh did i mention i hate the boys for counting slowly and making us restart the fingers and wrists exercise? HELLO YOU ASSHOLES, we've been training for three effing days and we did the same exercise just that morning! go and die please.
